KITAS (Limited Stay Permit) lets foreigners legally live (and, for certain types, work/invest) in Indonesia—typically 6 to 12 months with extensions available. You apply via e-Visa first, then activate KITAS/ITAS upon arrival or conversion.
Requires a sponsor/guarantor (company, institution, or educational organization) and specific supporting documents depending on its category.
The process usually involves initial approval, issuance of an e-Visa, biometric data collection at Immigration, and issuance of the e-ITAS/KITAS.
Can be extended as long as the requirements and purpose of stay are still valid.
Often comes with a MERP (Multiple Exit Re-entry Permit) option, allowing KITAS holders to enter and exit Indonesia freely during the permit’s validity.
Provides legal certainty to reside and engage in activities according to the intended purpose (work, investment, study), along with the obligation to comply with Indonesian immigration regulations.
Suitable for: Work assignments in Indonesia, business management/investment, educational or research programs, or professional activities requiring a stay permit beyond a short visit.
You must first acquire a VITAS (Visa Izin Tinggal Terbatas), followed by an ITAS (Izin Tinggal Terbatas), and finally your working visa, the KITAS.
Your passport can be stamped by the immigration offices if you have an ITAS immigration status.
Following the presentation of ITAS, you will be given a white card called KITAS.
We discuss your travel plan, objectives, and timeline to confirm a business-visa use case (non-work visit).
We verify your profile and recommend Single-Entry or Multiple-Entry based on trip frequency and stay needs.
We guide the sponsor/invitation letter, review passport validity, proof of funds, photo specs, insurance, and onward/return ticket.
We submit your application through the official portal; you authorize the official fees via the approved payment channel.
We track application status, handle additional information requests, and keep you updated until the visa is approved.
We deliver your e-Visa and provide an arrival checklist (entry guidance, permitted activities, and compliance reminders).
